Arkhangelsk is located on both banks of the Northern Dvina River in the upstream to its exit into the White Sea. 1) Arkhangelsk — ‘Kegostrov’ Island (Kego Island)

Kegostrov (Kego Island) or just Kego is located opposite to Arkhangelsk. The citizens arrive at it to lay on the summer beach, make a grill, to do sports on the open fresh-air fields or in the shadow of mystery dreamlike forest. 2) Arkhangelsk — Adrian Island
Travel time: 1h.

The heritage of Adrian Island is devoted to the modern technologies of XX and XXI centuries. From 1967 till to the 1996 there was a big magnetic observatory. Also you will be able to visit the unique exposition ‘Space and We’ in the main settlement there.

3) Arkhangelsk — Ostrovskiy Island
Travel time: 1h.

This island and adjoined settlement is known for its huge navy past. In 1613 the government found here an cartel so the craftsmen are used to live and work here day for day. The sailors here should be qualified in ways to maneuver ships through dangerous or congested waters, such as harbors or river mouths, so in the future well-experienced maritime pilots were completely ready for their duty.
Therefore the circumstance is directly connected with marine lifestyle: you can observe some old marine games and to play them, to drink a cup of tea from the old marine teapot, to have a walking across the dockyard, etc.
