The building of the church started in 2004. In 3 years the church was completed. On the 8th of July 2007 the bishop of Arkhangelsk and Kholmogory Tikhon consecrated the new church named after the Saints Peter and Paul in Karpogory.

1.By train “Arkhangelsk-Karpogory Passenger”. It departs every day at 4.35 pm from Arkhangelsk, and arrives at 10.07 pm. Then by bus to Karpogory to the localities: Nyukhcha, Sura, Verkola, Shardomen, Kushkopola, Vaymusha or by taxi (about 6 km). The back-train “Karpogory-Arkhangelsk” departs every day at 11.35 pm and arrives at 5.19 am.
2.By car from Arkhangelsk to the Karpogory village. On your way there will be 2 crossings.
