Rest house "Kiyskiy"

Holiday House «Kiysky» is located on Kyi-island. The unique monument of nature is located in the Onega Bay of the White Sea, 15 km from the city of Onega. The island is an unusually popular holiday destination for the Onegians and the guests of the city. In the summer period, located on the island the holiday house «Kiysky» accepts up to 2 thousand tourists.

The island is a natural protrusion of a large stone slab coming out of the sea. The altitude of the island increases to the central part, with individual rocks reaching 25 meters above sea level. The island is divided into two parts by the Strait of Decay.

The island has up to 500 species of plants, coastal waters are rich in fish and warm up to 24C in summer. Granite gray 25 meters of rocks, wide sandy beaches and magnificent berry-rich pine boron are astonishing.

HOW TO TRAVEL:

Arkhangelsk - Onega

1) By bus # 530 from the bus station, the journey takes 5 hours. It is better to buy a ticket in advance at the ticket office of the Bus Station in Arkhangelsk. The bus schedule is available here.

2) By private car. The route is available here.

3) By train "Arkhangelsk - Onega". The schedule is available on the Russian Railways website. You can buy a ticket at the box office or the Russian Railways For Passengers mobile application.

4) By private taxi route (3-4 hours on the way). Contact information can be found at the Tourist information center of the Onega region.

Onega - island Kiy

From the jetty in Onega by water transport on the White Sea. On the way 40-50 minutes depending on weather conditions. Departure time depends on the tide.
